The Project
iShack was approached in December 2012 by well-renowned commercial property experts to be the technology and development partner in their commercial property brokerage start-up business. The problem was that information in the commercial property sector was decentralised, outdated and all-round inefficient for businesses who are actively looking to rent office, retail, showroom, factory and industrial space for their business.
What we did
iShack Digital Consultancy and our expert commercial property partners spec’d the ideal user experience for the Instant Space user and then developed not only a robust cross-platform software solution but the procedure and best practises required to ensure that Instant Space remains two steps ahead of their closest competitor in the commercial property consultant market.
Results
The launch of the Instant Space Commercial Property portal in February 2013 was a renowned success with over 2000 commercial properties listed and over 2 million m2 of let-able business space immediately available on www.instantspace.co.za, making Instant Space the largest commercial property website by square meterage online in the South African market.
